Deli Street rail bridge crosses the A1033 Hedon Road, and is part of the much needed improvement scheme. The original bridge dating back to the turn of the century, was jacked from its bearings and removed by 2 linked SPMT's (self propelled modular trailers).
The new bridge which was fabricated on a site 400m away, was then transported by the same SPMT's to its final resting place, the line was re-opened to allow rolling stock to re-enter the docks operated by ABP.
