This cable-stayed bridge, links
the Northern and Southern villages of Priory Vale, spanning the Northern
Orbital Road. It is a very slender, light bridge and is constructed
entirely from structural tubes. It was designed for pedestrians, cyclists
and horse riders. To make it suitable for horses the parapets (sides)
had to be high enough to prevent them from seeing the traffic passing
below. |
